Where Tego started
No IT management. Endpoints were managed locally, with no standardisation, sporadic updates, and local admin rights for everyone.
Tier 1: Foundations
Inside a fortnight we brought the full device fleet under management and applied Essential Eight security baselines using Microsoft Intune and a Microsoft Defender for Endpoint deployment. We closed top-priority risks such as over-privileged access, and rolled out vulnerability and CVE detection across every device to find the highest-risk apps and machines, then remediated the CVEs we identified. Continual monitoring and reporting has held their secure score above industry standard for more than two years.
Tier 2: Governance
As Tego has grown, we have moved with them into a Governance model. We embedded a vCISO within their leadership team and ran a Zero Trust initiative, tightening guardrails and shaping technology decisions to reduce exposure before it turns into risk.
Looking ahead: AI
Tego are now exploring how AI can support their operations. Drawing on our experience with automation and AI agents, we advise directly on these projects from a data governance point of view.
